What is a Vagina?
The Vagina is a muscular and tubular part of the female genital tract with a length of about 6 inches and a width of about 2 inches, depending on each individual’s physiology. Inside the vagina, there is the epithelium in the form of a mucous membrane, composed of Squamous Cell. The mucous membrane generates vaginal lubricants to lubricate the inside of the vagina. There are several mucous glands in the mucous membranes that secrete vaginal lubricants.
“Underneath the vaginal mucous membrane”, there are connective tissue that is a combination of Smooth muscle fibers, Collagen fibers and Elastic fibers. Theses fibers are related to the strength and elasticity of the vagina.
The “G-Spot” is an area of the vaginal wall about 2-3 inches away from the vaginal opening. This area is a thick wall with plenty of nerve cells, and is characterized as an erogenous area of the vagina.

The causes of “a loose vagina”
The biggest reason that can cause a loose vagina is aging, along with long term intercourses, giving birth, and also the menopause period. These conditions can degenerate “Collagen fibers” and “Elastin fiber” in the vaginal wall. Some women with a loose vagina don’t have any symptoms, but some feel a decline of sexual satisfaction, and some cases suffer from urinary incontinence that needs to be treated.

“What is the relation between a loose vagina and urinary incontinence?”
There are various pelvic organs, including the uterus, colon, bladder and the vagina (birth canal), which are the main parts that control the pelvic area in normal positions and functions. But once the vaginal muscle has degenerated or become less firm, this can cause wrong positions and functions of pelvic organs, which is why the urinary incontinence condition is related to vaginal muscle degeneration.
